QR Photogallery/Terzo Tropico aps e Tempo e Diaframma aps presentano l’edizione 2024 di “CLOSER - Dentro il reportage” un evento dedicato alla fotografia sociale e documentaria, da quest’anno con cadenza biennale, che ha l’obiettivo di promuovere nuovi e promettenti autori italiani e stranieri. Anche in questa edizione saranno selezionati cinque lavori che verranno esposti nella mostra collettiva prevista a Bologna nell’autunno 2024.

PARTICIPATE IN THE INTERNATIONAL CALL! DEADLINE MAY 15, 2024
QR Photogallery, Terzo Tropico-APS and Tempo e Diaframma APS, present the 2024 edition of “CLOSER – Dentro il reportage”, the event dedicated to social and documentary photography, starting this year every two years, which has the objective to promote new and promising Italian and foreign authors.
As in past editions, this year too five works will be selected and exhibited in the collective exhibition scheduled for autumn 2024 in Bologna.
The international call expires on May 15, 2024.
The seventh edition of the Social Photography Festival returns to Bologna from Saturday 12 October to Sunday 3 November 2024 with exhibitions, meetings and workshops.
The CLOSER Festival has scheduled: the exhibition featuring 5 photographers identified through the international call, training events with workshops conducted by prominent professionals and meetings with established photographers who offer original growth opportunities. The program will be released as soon as it is available.
With CLOSER the photographic medium becomes the spokesperson for relevant and current social issues, which come from different corners of the world to the city of Bologna to spark reflections on contemporary reality.
The promoters confirm their commitment to strengthening the project by giving CLOSER a new perspective, to characterize the Festival as an event of national importance, focused on social, documentary and photojournalism photography, as well as its vocation to the promotion of emerging photographers.
The editorial team of Witness Journal, media partner of the Festival, will choose and publish part of the works in the magazine.
